Data Accessed (Google User Data)

When you choose to sign in with Google, we access and store the following information from your Google account:

• Google ID (a unique identifier provided by Google)
• Email address
• First name
• Last name
• Avatar / profile image (typically a profile photo URL)

We do not request access to other Google data (for example: Google Drive files, contacts, calendar, etc.).

Data Accessed (Sign in with Apple, mobile app only)

When you choose Sign in with Apple in the Planet Ponder app, we access and store:

• An Apple user identifier (unique to Planet Ponder; it does not identify you to other apps)
• Your name and email address, only if you choose to share them (Apple may provide a private relay address instead of your real one)

Apple provides your name and email only on the first sign-in. We never receive your Apple ID password or any other Apple account data.

Data Usage (How We Use Google User Data)

We use the Google user data listed above only to:

• Create and maintain your Planet Ponder user record
• Authenticate you when you sign in
• Display basic profile information in the app (for example, showing your name and avatar)
• Provide account-related support (for example, helping recover or verify your account if you contact us)
• Show you your own play statistics: while signed in we record how you play each word (letter taps and their timing, hints and sound-outs used, time on the poem, and the outcome) under your account, so the Stats page can show your progress. This is never shared or used for advertising, and guests are not recorded.

We do not sell Google user data.

Data Sharing (Third Parties)

We do not share your Google user data with third parties for marketing or advertising.

Your data may be stored or processed by service providers strictly to operate Planet Ponder, including Amazon Web Services (AWS). Our user database is stored in Amazon S3.

We may also disclose information if required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or to enforce our terms.

Data Storage & Protection

We store the Google user data described above in our Planet Ponder user database hosted on Amazon S3. We take reasonable measures to protect user data, including limiting access to authorized systems and personnel and using security controls provided by our hosting provider.

No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using appropriate safeguards for a small consumer web service.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain the Google user data listed above for as long as your Planet Ponder account remains active, or as needed to operate the service and meet legal or security obligations.

Deleting your account: you can delete your account yourself at any time, and the deletion takes effect immediately:

• In the Planet Ponder app: tap your profile icon, then Delete account.
• On the web: open Settings (the gear icon) on the Wordoem site and choose Delete account, or start from planetponder.com/delete-account.

Because one account covers our websites and the app, deleting it from either place removes your profile, all solved words and stickers, streaks, saved games and play history everywhere. You will be asked to confirm with Google or Apple first so that nobody else can delete your account. For Apple accounts we also ask Apple to disconnect the app from your Apple Account.

Word-search games you shared by link remain playable for their recipients, and leaderboard entries keep only the display name you typed; neither can be linked back to you after deletion.

Requesting a copy of your data, or deletion when you can no longer sign in: email us at wordoemgame@gmail.com from the address associated with your account (or include it in the message) with a subject line like “Planet Ponder Data Deletion Request” or “Planet Ponder Data Access Request”. Once verified, we will delete (or provide) your account data within 30 days. Some limited information may remain in security logs or backups for a short period, but we will not use it for any new purpose.
